Hey guys! Hope all is well!
We’re still in our Monthly Theme for January: Prayer & Vision!
As a recap,
The first week we talked about 3 Things Our Vision Requires.
Then, last week we talked about My Word for 2018.
& we’ve also been working on our 21 Days of Prayer & Vision Journal.
These next two weeks, we are going to provide some more practical resources to help you set your 2018 for the best!
One of my “New Year” resolutions is to read more books! My goal is to read at least one book a month…hopefully.
Books for me are like an escape. I love hearing about people’s stories and learning about how their past life experiences helped shape their knowledge and outlook on life today.
Of course, we know there are several benefits to reading. Books can be conversation starters, it expands your vocabulary, and it has been proven to increase your overall intelligence.
Wanting to get into reading more this year, but you don’t know where to start?
Well, look no further!
In light of our theme this month being on Prayer & Vision, I would like to share with you 21 books that can aid your 2018 vision this year!
2018 Books Reading List for your Vision
1. Soar – TD Jakes
This is one of the books I’m reading currently! Even though I’ve just started, this book has been so helpful! For me, I dream to be an entrepreneur but I lack business “savvy”. Bishop Jakes shares some great & practical tips on how to not just start a business but also how to expand and keep it successful! What I’m liking most about this book is that it has a great balance between storytelling/analogies and practical tips you can actually use!
2. Uninvited – Lysa TerKeurst
Now, this is actually a re-read for me. I read this book last year, and I must say that it really changed my way of thinking. If you have ever struggled with rejection, this is a MUST READ. Lysa’s stories in this book are so relatable, and she provides some great Biblical insight into how to combat rejection. So, if one of your goals this year is to live from a place of love instead of living in fear and rejection…. Go check this book out!
I will definitely be re-reading this book this year! It’s just that good.
